Comparison of Ocean floor to Earth

The difference between the earth and the ocean floor is the ocean floor seems to have more younger layers than the earth. Because most of the oldest layers are on earth rather than the ocean floor.

The ocean floor seems to have strips of layers spread out across the ocean floor but the earth seems to have a random pattern of layers.

The information most likely supports the drifters theory of a continental drift. Because the earths layers are spread out in random patterns but if you put it together like the ocean floor it would make sense and line up like the ocean floor. Also the mountains under the ocean is were the continental were said to have seperrated and I think as the continents moved away that made the layers look like they do today.
